FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
July 25, 2012
ST LOUIS, MO – The Missouri Club for Growth PAC (MOCFG PAC) announced eight Senate endorsements today in advance of the August 7th primary election. “With our economy remaining stagnant, it has never been more important to send candidates to Jefferson City that will aggressively fight for fiscally conservative policies,” said MOCFG PAC Chairman Larry Schuster. “We believe these eight candidates have what it takes to make the bold economic decisions that will benefit all Missourians.”
The MOCFG PAC has a solid record of making a positive impact in state legislative races. In the 2010 election cycle, the MOCFG PAC invested over $300,000 in support of 14 fiscally conservative candidates. The Club has a history of picking winners at a better than 95% rate.
To obtain an endorsement from the MOCFG PAC, candidates were required to submit a detailed questionnaire outlining their positions on fiscal policy. Every candidate that filed with the Secretary of State’s office was sent a questionnaire. After a thorough review of all returned questionnaires, and additional interviews with a select group of top tier candidates, the MOCFG PAC Board of Directors voted on each race.
The geographically diverse MOGFG PAC Board includes Chairman Larry Schuster of Columbia, Nancy Kraus-Womack of Kansas City, Kirk Mathews of St. Louis, Cindy O’Laughlin of Shelbina, Bev Randles of Kansas City, and Caroline Strom of Sikeston.
